Duero Douro Industrial Heritage is a cross-border project that brings the Douro region’s industrial legacy to life in Spain and Portugal. A cultural landscape shaped by crafts, infrastructure and energy: factories, mills and watermills, mines, bridges, stations, canals and much more.
Here, industrial history isn’t just something from the past — it’s a way of understanding the region, and a chance to experience it through cultural tourism.
